After the tragic helicopter accident I felt his life was taken far too soon as well as his daughter.  Having met him and always been a huge fan of his work ethic and talent and character I wanted to create something to honor him.  This creation would bring me joy for what an amazing person he was and not feel so deeply saddened by the loss of this legendary athlete and human being. There is also a Kobe jersey I bought at the Staples Center while watching him play on Christmas many years ago and a tribute magazine from ESPN that come with the painting if desired for the true collector.
